(New Series!) Mini City Guides | Washington, DC

2.28.2014

Whenever I plan a trip somewhere new, the first thing I do is consult my most trustworthy sources – the  people who eat/sleep/shop/work there – the locals. One of my goals this year is also to travel more, which is why I'm excited to debut this brand new "city guide" series here on the blog. The premise: if your best friend was planning a weekend getaway to your city, where would you tell her to go? I've asked some of my favorite ladies to share the top spots in their towns for everything from brunch to people watching, and come up with guides that will give you an amazing travel to-do list (or at the very least, an incurable case of wanderlust).

Let's kick off this new series with fabulous Washington, DC blogger & brand strategist (and cooking/baking/food enthusiast), Nikki of Cupcakes for Breakfast, shall we?

I don't know about you, but I'm itching to pack my bags and head for the nation's capital!

  1. I love this post and can't wait to see what other cities you explore with other friends and bloggers!! I live in the DC area and couldn't agree more.

By the way, I'm LOVING your blog and your shop! Now I know where to go to for adorable paper goods :) The simple design is perfection, that's how I like to keep mine too.
