Four Beach Reads for the Fourth

If you're headed to the beach for a long weekend, I'm really jealous of you your bag isn't complete without a can't-put-it-down book. Over the years I've compiled a list of my favorite beach reads which tend to be the books I read and re-read year after year. Right at the top of my current list ...

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling: I can't recommend this book enough if you want to spend the afternoon laughing. Mindy is hilarious, completely relatable, and by the end of the book you'll want to be her BFF. {find it here}

Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin: Can't forget your standard super girly book, right? The book was way better than the movie. You'll finish this one in a day. {find it here}

Girls in White Dresses by Jennifer Close: If you're a woman who has ever experienced the uncertainty, confusion and overall craziness of twenty-something life, you'll love this book. (I've re-read it at least 3 times). {find it here}

The Ingredients of Love by Nicolas Barreau: I'm currently reading this, and I love it so far. It's your classic "unexpected love" story between a chef and a publisher ... based in Paris ( you know how I feel about all things French). {find it here}

Have a happy friends/family/firework filled 4th of July!

  1. I loved Mindy's book! Such a great beach read.

    1. It's one of my favorites! I wish she would write another. xx

  2. I also loved Baby Proof by Emily Giffin. You should read The Paris Wife by Paula McLain. I think you would enjoy it!

    1. That's what I keep hearing! I think it's going to be next on my list. :)
