Dream Office

Decorating and I have a love/hate relationship. I love creating beautiful spaces, but I hate that it takes so long ... especially when following the "only buy what you love" rule. Dream decorating, on the other hand, is one of my favorite things to do. A few thousand dollars for a sculpture or gorgeous sofa? Sure, add it to the mix. I've been spending lots of time in my office lately, so I've had lots of time to dream up my perfect work space.

My dream office is full of black & white (my all time favorite color combination), lucite and brass with textural accents. It's a play of masculine vs. feminine and isn't complete without a bouquet of fresh peonies. It has a wall full of paintings and prints, and a never-ending supply of le pens. And a black lacquer Parsons desk.

Someday, it'll all come true, but for now I'd even settle for some fun decorative accents ...
1. CB2 Stacking Boxes, $30 2. C.Wonder Brass Letter, $34 3. Matisse Print via Art.com, $13 4. Hugo Guinness Print, $275 5. Russell + Hazel Clipboard, $22 6. LePen, $2 7. Kelly Wearstler Sculpture, $1500 8. Chesterfield Sofa (similar options here9. Aerin Match Striker, $190 10. See Jane Work Sorter, $8 11. Fresh Peonies

P.S. I think it would be really cool to share a studio space with other creatives/entrepreneurs. Where would your dream office be and what would it look like?

  2. I was picturing that office as I read and I'm pretty sure it's absolutely dreamy!! There's nothing I love more than blush pink, gold, and black. So chic!
